The third day of WrestleFest is on the air! Fans have jammed the Kiel
Center in St. Louis, MO to witness the final day of the huge Parade of Champions event.
Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are at ringside.
Wood: Welcome, everyone, to the final day of MMP WrestleFest featuring
The Parade of Champions! I'm Jerry Wood alongside Ray Brewer where tonight we will find
out who the mystery challenger is at the end of the world championship gauntlet. Captain
Patrick O'Conner heads into his first match as champion not knowing who he is going to face.
Many names have been thrown around backstage, but it will still be a few hours until we find out
who that challenger will be.
Brewer: There have been all kinds of rumors making the rounds here in St. Louis over the past
few hours. Popular opinion is hinting towards either Masochrist or the return of Diamond King,
but we've also heard names like former GWF champion Jack Redfield or one-time HWA star
Corn Bread floating around. We will have to wait and see.
Wood: In addition to that, we will see the finals of four other championship gauntlets as well as
the final Four Corners of Death/Hell in a Cell Match for the Survivor's Cup. The winner takes
home not only bragging rights over the rest of the MMP roster, but also a title shot on the June
12 Hardcore Saturday Night from Winnipeg, Manitoba. We go right to the ring for our opening
bout as for the third PPV event in a row, The Joker's Child and Wolverine will do battle for the
midwestern title!!
MMP Midwestern Championship Match
THE JOKER'S
CHILD (C) vs. WOLVERINE
Wolverine was waiting in the ring as the defending champion was
accompanied to the ring by Ponch as well as the hobo members of The Family. Joker was
smoking a cigar and flipping off the fans along the runway, but when he got to the ring he found
an angry challenger waiting for him. As Joker stepped through the ropes, Wolverine assaulted
him immediately with a barrage of forearms before grabbing him around the throat with both
hands and hoisting him up in the air in a chokehold! The fans cheered loudly as Wolverine took
the champion apart. With Joker grasping for air, Wolverine tossed Joker back into the buckle
and started nailing him with a series of back elbow smashes to the side of the head. Joker was
struggling to hang on, but Wolverine was relentless. He nailed Joker with a slingshot suplex
followed by a pair of legdrops to the throat. Wolverine made the cover, but Joker kicked out
after two. Wolverine pulled Joker up in an atomic drop, but rather than dropping him on his
knee, Wolverine straddled Joker on the top rope. Joker was swinging back and forth semi-
conscious as Wolverine nailed him with right hand after right hand until Welfare William slid
under the bottom rope and asked the referee for some spare change. The referee didn't answer,
but simply tried to order him to the floor. William protested, but the issue was quickly cleared
up when Wolverine came over and nailed him with a right hand. William went down hard and
rolled out to the floor. The referee then administered a warning to all three of the hobos while on
the other side of the ring, Ponch passed Joker in a chair. Wolverine turned back to his
opponent and was caught with a hard chair shot to the head that nearly knocked him out. Joker
tossed the chair away as he slapped on a camel clutch. Insisting that Wolverine was giving up,
Joker tried to convince the referee to stop the match, but the ref refused. Wolverine tried
desperately to break the hold, but could not. He eventually managed to slide his feet out under
the bottom rope to force the break, but his back was in bad shape. Joker broke the hold, but
wasn't very happy about it. Instead of staying on Wolverine, he got right in the referee's face,
cursing him out for not giving him the match. When the referee threatened him with
disqualification, Joker flipped him the middle finger before turning back to his opponent. When
he turned around, Wolverine grabbed him and hit a series of three rolling belly to belly suplexes!
Wolverine looked ready to capture the title and set him on the top rope. He went for the Death
from Above, but Joker countered it into a superplex. Once Wolverine hit the mat, Joker
immediately slapped on the Last Laugh! Wolverine struggled to the ropes, but his motion was
limited by Joker's positioning and eventually had no choice but to tap out. The Joker's Child
grabbed the belt, celebrating as he was declared the winner, surviving the gauntlet.
Wood: The Joker's Child has survived the three day gauntlet, holding onto
the midwestern championship against three top challengers, although all three wins come under
somewhat controversial circumstances.
Brewer: I have to admit I'm quite surprised that Joker pulled this off. Most of his title reign has
been filled with defenses against Mr. Beumont and, while he was serving as Joker's servant,
Mack. Death, Mack, and Wolverine all gave Joker a good run, but he survived, much to the
displeasure of the fans in attendance.
Wood: So that makes two gauntlets complete here at WrestleFest. Harbinger and The
Destroyer are the new tag team champions, but Joker's Child retains the midwestern
championship. Our next match could steal the show here in St. Louis. The undefeated Scott
Worth gets his first shot at championship gold against Wang Chen, the television champion who
has looked quite impressive here tonight, including a victory in rumble #4 that will put him in the
Survivor's Cup final later on tonight. Let's go to the ring!
MMP Television Championship Match
"THE CONMAN"
WANG CHEN (C) vs. SCOTT WORTH
Wang Chen and Sean Williams were in the ring as Scott Worth made his
way down with Kimberly Brandon. As the challenger stepped between the ropes, he demanded
a microphone:
Worth: Hey WANG TON PIN, it's collecting time, baby. You neglected to
inform these children that I handed you that belt there not too long ago and now I'm coming to
undue my dirty work. So i'm giving you this chance to fork over the title and scram.... what do
you say?
Chen made an obscene gesture, giving his apparent refusal of Worth's offer.
The crowd got to it's feet cheering as Worth turned around, looking dejected. The challenger
then spun around suddenly, nailing Chen in the forehead with the mic before taking him down
with a big boot to the face. Chen went down hard, but Worth didn't let him stay there for long.
After whipping Chen into the buckle, Worth nailed him with a series of knees to the midsection
that knocked the wind out of him before placing a boot across Chen's throat and choking him as
he stood in the corner. Chen was left gasping for air, slumped on the ropes against the
turnbuckle. Worth didn't let up, grabbing Chen and lifting him in a gorilla press and dropping
him over the top rope to the floor below. Worth raised his arms in a symbol of victory as
Williams helped his partner in the Lone Gunz get back to his feet. Chen was slow to get up,
climbing slowly back to the ring apron. Worth came over to pull him back in, but Chen met his
opponent with a rake of the eyes enabling him to get back in unopposed. Chen put Worth in an
armwringer followed by a kick to the midsection and a clothesline. With the big man down,
Worth quickly slapped on a figure four leglock. Worth could be heard screaming in pain, but he
refused to give up. Kimberly Brandon was chuckling under her breath on the outside, but
Worth soon managed to use his considerable reach advantage to grab onto the bottom rope,
forcing Chen to break the hold. Worth got back to his feet quickly, but suddenly started feeling
the effects of the figure four and needed the ropes to stay in a vertical position. Worth went for
a clothesline, but Chen ducked out of the way and nailed Worth with a big powerslam. Chen
went quickly to the top rope and came off with a flying legdrop, but Worth managed to roll out
of the way, sending Chen crashing hard to the canvas. Still limping noticeably, Worth pulled
Chen up and whipped him into the turnbuckle, nailing him with a series of kung fu chops
followed by a sidewalk slam. The Syndicate appeared ready to capture another championship
as Worth pulled Chen up and nailed the All Nighter! Rather than going for the cover, Worth
called Kimberly up to the apron. The ref stepped in quickly, ordering Kimberly to get down.
Worth wouldn't let him say his piece, shoving the referee down and screaming at him to mind his
own business. Worth then turned around to say something to Kimberly, who responded by
nailing Worth over the head with her purse! She jumped down to the floor, opened her bag,
and took out a brick, which she handed to Sean Williams as she walked back to the dressing
room. Worth was out cold as Chen rolled on top. The referee shook the cobwebs off and
counted Worth down for the 1...2...3!
Wood: Two matches in St. Louis, two champions who have retained their
titles through the gauntlets! Wang Chen has just handed Scott Worth his first loss in the MMP,
albeit with a little help from Kimberly Brandon.
Brewer: Oh, I would say that was a little more than a little help from Kimberly Brandon. Worth
was ready to dispose of Chen the same as he had done to every other opponent he has ever
faced here in this company. Let's see how Chen does later on in that Four Corners match. I
don't think there will be anything left of "The Conman" when he comes out here later
on.
Wood: Speaking of the Four Corners match, another man who will participate in that contest is
The Destroyer. He tries to become the third man to survive his gauntlet with his title intact, but
he faces what could possibly be his toughest test to date in singles action in the MMP in
Psychotic Sam. Let's go to the ring for some hardcore action!
MMP Extreme Championship Match
THE DESTROYER (C)
vs. PSYCHOTIC SAM
The champion was introduced first, coming to the ring with his partner
Harbinger, and proudly carrying both the extreme and tag team championship belts. Sam was
joined as always by Family members Mr. Beumont, Welfare William, and Hobo Richard, but
surprised the fans by bringing to the ring the returning Mike the Giant Retard, who was carrying
long lost Family "member" Harold the Fish, a dead largemouth bass mounted on a wooden
plaque. Beumont was carrying the usual hockey bag which he set in the corner just before the
hobos covered the ropes in lighter fluid and set them on fire!! While Destroyer was startled,
Sam jumped on his back, biting ferociously at the extreme champion's left ear. Destroyer,
though, was easily the biggest man Sam had ever tried that move against, and the champ simply
reached back over his head, grabbed Sam, and flipped him over. Sam hit the mat hard and was
slow in getting up, which played right into Destroyer's gameplan of keeping the match at a slow
pace against his much smaller opponent. Destroyer nailed Sam with an atomic drop with such
force that it sent Sam foreward into the turnbuckle. The champion seemed to be controlling
things early on. While in the corner, Sam started tearing frantically at the hockey bag that had
been left there by Beumont. Destroyer pulled Sam away, but when he spun the challenger
around, Sam nailed him over the head repeatedly with a cookie sheet until the sheet was bent
completely in half! Destroyer was staggered but did not go down. Before his opponent could
recover, Sam grabbed Harold the Fish out of the corner and his Destroyer in the head with
"him". This time, Destroyer went down. Sam then went back to his bag of goodies and pulled
out a spool of barbed wire. While Destroyer started getting up, Sam came up on him from
behind and wrapped the wire around his throat. Blood starting coming out of several small
incisions in Destroyer's neck, so the referee stepped in and pulled Sam off, fearing what might
happen if the wire went any deeper. Sam moved back in, but Destroyer caught him with two
solid punches to the head that held Sam off until he could get back to his feet and nail a crushing
hangman's noose neckbreaker. With Destroyer taking control of the match once again, Joker's
Child and Ponch made their way down to ringside. Ponch grabbed a fire extinguisher out from
under the ring and used it to put out the flames on one side of the ring. Thinking that Ponch
might be trying to get involved, Destroyer stepped half way through the ropes and nailed him
with a hard kick to the head that nearly knocked Ponch unconscious before throwing Sam over
the top rope to the floor. Stepping over the top rope, Destroyer waited for Sam to get back to
his feet before nailing a running bulldog off the aprong, driving Sam's head hard into the concrete
floor. Destroyer grabbed a chair away from the announce table and nailed Sam with it, then
grabbed the fire extinguisher that Ponch had just used. Destroyer prepared the device while
Sam struggled to get up, but before he could use it, Sam caught him with a low blow. The
challenger then grabbed the extinguisher and sprayed the massive Destroyer right in the face!
The hobos looked to be putting a plan together, but before they could do anything, more than a
dozen of the Cult Master's followers joined Harbinger in surrounding not only Beumont, William,
and Richard, but also Joker's Child and the fallen Ponch. Back in the ring, Sam looked to be
getting ready to finish things off, but Destroyer was not beaten yet. He reached into his boot and
pulled out a silver fork, scratching it repeatedly across Sam's forehead. Both competitors were
battered and bloody as the match continued with not one of the 20, 000 fans in attendance
sitting down. Destroyer had Sam in bad shape and was ready to finish off his third and final
challenger. Suddenly, The Saint and his entourage of Can Crusher, Garlen, and Hip Hoppin'
Ron came running down to the ring with Marbels in hand. They all jumped into the ring and
attacked Destroyer. Saint nailed Destroyer in the head with Marbels three times, allowing Sam
to connect with the Psychotic Smash! Sam made the cover and scored the controversial three
count to win the title. Once the decision was announced, Saint and his friends attacked both
men. Harbinger and the Cult followers quickly jumped in the ring to chase them away, as did
Joker and the hobos. Saint, Crusher, Garlen, and Ron took off quickly, avoiding a
confrontation. Stretchers had to be brought out to carry both the new and former
champions.
Wood: For the third time, Psychotic Sam has captured the MMP extreme
championship! It comes not without controversy, but nonetheless, we have seen the first title
change of the evening here in St. Louis.
Brewer: You have to hand it to Destroyer. He has fought now six matches in the past 48 hours,
and has won five of them. The sixth match, against what turned out to be five men, working
together or not, proved to be the straw that broke the horse's back. Both guys are leaving
tonight in rough shape. You have to wonder about the condition of Destroyer heading into that
Four Corners Match coming up in just a little while here at the Kiel Center.
Wood: The Survivor's Cup finalists are 1-1 here tonight with Wang Chen retaining the TV title
and Destroyer dropping the extreme belt to Psychotic Sam. The other finalist who must fight a
title match tonight is up next. In a match that has been a long time in the making, The Bootlegger
will put the universal title on the line against The Masked Lard. Without further adieu, let's go to
the finals of the universal championship series!
MMP Universal Championship Match
THE BOOTLEGGER
(C) vs. THE MASKED LARD
The Lard was out with his manager Irwin Hinkle and appeared even more
focused going into the match than at a Pizza Hut all you can eat buffet. The Bootlegger was
escorted by his usual entourage. The gorgeous Bootleggerettes were dressed in identical
evening gowns for this huge confrontation. Once in the ring, The Bootlegger was up to his usual
tricks, offering the Lard a handshake to open the match. Knowing full well what to expect, the
Lard grabbed Bootlegger's hand as if accepting the gesture, but pulled him in quickly and nailed
him with a thunderous headbutt. Bootlegger went down hard, but the Lard wasn't about to let
him rest up. He pulled the champion up off the canvas and whipped him into the turnbuckle.
The Lard followed Bootlegger in slowly and used his considerable mass to try and smother his
opponent and win the match by knockout. The referee quickly started the five count, but only
on instructions from Irwin Hinkle would the Lard let up. The masked man didn't stop there. He
then grabbed the greasy Italian and whipped him across the ring to the opposite corner. The
Lard followed with an avalanche, but Bootlegger slithered out of the way, sending the big man
crashing into the buckle. Bootlegger laughed heartily at his opponent's misfortune, but was quick
to follow up, nailing Lard with a DDT and a legdrop. Looking to catch his breath, Bootlegger
locked in a rear chinlock to try and wear the big man down. Not able to get much of a grip
around the Lard's ample chin, Bootlegger released the hold and got some hard kicks in before
slapping on an armbar. The Lard rolled to the ropes to force the break and Bootlegger
complied, but took the opportunity to humiliate his opponent with a few patronizing slaps to the
back of the head. Lard got back to his feet slowly and Bootlegger charged in with a running
clothesline, but the challenger caught him, countering the clothesline into a belly to belly suplex.
The Lard then nailed a big crushing legdrop and dragged Bootlegger to the corner, where the big
man climbed slowly to the middle ropes. The Lard went for the win and came down with a
banzai drop, but Bootlegger managed to roll out of the way at the last minute, dropping the fat
man loudly on his large posterior. Struggling to regroup, Bootlegger simply pushed Lard out
under the bottom rope while complaining to the referee about the Lard's lack of deodorant. The
nuisance complaint distracted the referee while the Bootleggerettes humiliated the Lard by
pelting him with two bags of dried vegetables. Irwin Hinkle confronted Veronica and got her to
back off, but Betty then pulled a taser out from under her dress and jammed it into the Lard's
gargantuan midsection. The big man was spasming like a beached whale while the referee's
attention was distracted by the champion. When Betty finished, Bootlegger pushed past the
referee and pulled the Lard back towards the middle of the ring. With the big man not moving,
Bootlegger slapped on a sleeperhold. The ref checked the Lard, who was struggling to breath
after the taser attack. The official checked his arm and it fell once. It fell twice. It fell...three
times. The match was over, and The Bootlegger had retained the universal
championship.
Wood: Another champion has survived here at WrestleFest! Joining the
likes of Wang Chen and The Joker's Child, The Bootlegger has emerged from the Parade of
Champions with his title intact.
Brewer: After that gruelling match with Virus Richards, Bootlegger faced tough challenges from
Clay Moore and The Masked Lard and has to be given credit for surviving against opponents of
that calibre on back to back evenings. Like him or not, Gene Barlotta proved over the past
couple of days that he is one of the top men in this industry today. Whether you like his
methods, you have to agree that they are effective.
Wood: There's no doubt about that. Barlotta's wrestling techniques have never been held in
very high regard with many of us, but there's no arguing with his results. He is the universal
champion, and nobody can deny that fact. Well, as you can see, the cell around the ring is
lowering. Commissioner Grant Lindsay is making his way to ringside with two Brinks
employees following closely behind carrying a grey lock box, in which we understand is the
Survivor's Cup trophy that will be presented to the winner of our next contest. Four of the top
wrestlers the MMP has ever seen will do battle for the honor of being the first man ever to
capture that prestigious trophy. Let's go to the ring!
Survivor's Cup Challenge Finals
Four Corners of Death/Hell in a
Cell Match
THE REGULATOR vs. THE MASKED LARD vs. THE DESTROYER vs.
"THE CONMAN" WANG CHEN
The four men made their entrances separately, each getting a much deserved
ovation from the fans in acknowledgement of the accomplishment that each had made in just
qualifying for this final match. The Regulator was introduced first, sporting a look of confidence
on his face in knowing that he was the only man in the match who had not wrestled earlier in the
evening. He passed Loui Slugger and his Marbels medallion to Ray Brewer at ringside, pulled
his battlemask down over his face, and stepped into the cell to await his opponents. Wang
Chen was introduced next, joined again by tag team partner "WildCard" Sean Williams and
carrying the TV belt, seemingly recoved from his match with Scott Worth and looking ready to
make that jump to the top of the MMP. Bandages and all, The Destroyer came to the ring
under his own power. He had Harbinger at his side and the tag team belt in his hand. In spite of
his injuries, Destroyer had an evil look in his eye, looking to exact some revenge after what had
happened earlier against Sam. The final man, The Masked Lard, came to the ring slowly with
Irwin Hinkle leading the way. Whether his deliberate pace to ringside was a result of his injuries
or his overwhelming mass was unclear, but there was no doubt in the arena that Hinkle had
regrouped his man and had him ready to go. At the opening bell, the four men went right after
one another and the sellout crowd let out a deafening roar. The Lard paired of with Regulator
while Destroyer and Chen hooked up, hinting at a possible meeting down the road between The
Cult and Lone Gunz. Regulator was focused on knocking the wind out of Lard, hitting him with
a series of vicious shots to the chest while Destroyer overwhelmed the much smaller Chen with a
series of heavy punches and kicks. Destroyer charged Chen with a clothesline, but the TV
champ ducked out of the way, sending Destroyer into the buckle. Destroyer hit hard and
staggered out, getting taken down by Chen with a drop toehold followed by a running
elbowdrop. On the other side, Regulator nailed the winded Masked Lard with a spinning heel
kick that took the big man off his feet. Wang Chen went for a cover on Destroyer, but
Regulator saw it in time to go over and break it up before Chen could win the Cup. When Reg
turned back around, the Lard was back on his feet. He grabbed Regulator and threw him out
through the ropes to the area between the ring and the cell. Following Regulator out, Lard
grabbed the smaller man and put him in a crippling bearhug, ramming him back first into the steel
cell and dropping his limp body onto the floor before getting back in the ring. Chen continued
working on the obviously wounded Destroyer, but was surprisingly spun around by the Lard and
hit with a crushing belly to belly suplex. Chen almost disappeared beneath the Lard's 500-plus
pound frame, but it wasn't enough to put him away. With the other three men battling in the ring,
Regulator slid under the ring to catch a breather while the others tired themselves out. The Lard
stomped away on Chen, but was quickly turned around and caught with a big sidewalk slam
from Destroyer. The former extreme champ made the cover, but Chen crawled over just in time
to break the pin. Chen and Destroyer started going at it once again, and when Lard got back to
his feet, he joined Chen in double-teaming the Cult member. The big man clotheslined
Destroyer down, but then suddenly turned and nailed Chen with a thunderous headbutt. The
Lard then legdropped both men simultaneously and looked ready to win the match. Stacking
Chen on top of Destroyer, Lard dragged the pile to the corner and went to the top rope. The
fans held their collective breath in anticipation just before the Lard came off, nailing the pile of
Chen and Destroyer with the Lardsault!! Hearing the loud crash of the Lard hitting the mat,
Regulator quickly cut up from under the ring as the referee counted the 1...2...Regulator nailed
Lard with an elbow to the back of the head to break the pin. Pulling a fire extinguisher up from
the hole, Regulator nailed Lard in the head with the foreign object before slapping on the
Pinch!!! The big man was struggling to hold on while the referee came over to check and see if
he wanted to give it up. At the same time, Regulator was struggling to keep the hold on the huge
man, but Sean Williams shouted something in to the referee. The ref acknowledged him and
looked over at what Williams was saying. Realizing that Chen was still on top of Destroyer after
the two had been victimized by the Lardsault, the ref left Regulator and Lard and counted the
1...2...3!!!! The crowd errupted as Chen's barely conscious arm was raised in victory. The cell
was raised to the ceiling as Williams got in the ring to help his partner back to his feet.
Regulator, Lard, and Destroyer all made their exit as Commissioner Lindsay stepped between
the ropes to present Wang Chen with the Survivor's Cup in the middle of the ring.
Wood: Wang Chen has won the Survivor's Cup!! Ladies and gentlemen,
Wang Chen will now go on to challenge for the world title on June 12 in Winnipeg, Manitoba!
This has to be considered an upset by many of the so-called experts.
Brewer: I agree, I think this is a huge upset, but when you think about it, it probably shouldn't
be. Wang Chen is the reigning TV champion and has one of the most impressive records the
MMP has ever seen. Even though he associates himself with that cowardly lowlife Sean
Williams, he has proven himself to be one hell of a wrestler. I never thought I would say it, but
congratulations to Wang Chen!
Wood: Well, we know one half of the main event for the June 12 Hardcore Saturday Night
event. Now it's time to find out the other. The main event of the Parade of Champions is up
next with the finals of the world title gauntlet. We know that Captain Patrick O'Conner, the
leader of the new supergroup known as The Untouchables, is the champion. What we don't
know is who the challenger will be. We should find out momentarily, as we send it to the ring
for the final time at WrestleFest!
MMP World Championship Match
CAPTAIN PATRICK
O'CONNER (C) vs. TO BE ANNOUNCED
O'Conner made his way out first, receiving a tremendous ovation from the
St. Louis crowd. On his way to his first title defense, O'Conner, with George Achica at his side,
had a look of unquestioned confidence on his face. He passed the belt to the timekeeper and
stepped in the ring, going over some last minute strategy before the lights in the arena went out.
When they came back on, the man who had appeared at the end of the Masochrist/Regulator
match at the end of the last Saturday Night Slams appeared in the ring. He whipped off his
cloak to reveal...THE RYNO!!! The fans burst into cheers at the realization that one of their
favorites was back. O'Conner nodded his head approvingly, as if he had known all along. The
two circled in the middle of the ring, exchaging a handshake before locking up to get the final
match of the PPV underway. From the lockup, the two longtime allies quickly forgot about their
friendship, exchaning hard right hands back and forth as the crowd's approval got louder and
louder. After landing a series of three straight punches, O'Conner backed Ryno off and nailed
him with a big running lariat. Ryno pulled himself back up in the corner, but O'Conner wasn't
holding back and nailed a big avalanche against the buckle. O'Conner caught Ryno coming out
and went for a hiptoss, but Ryno held his ground and nailed O'Conner with a big clothesline!
Laying O'Conner's throat across the middle ropes, Ryno ran off the other side and jumped on
O'Conner's back, jamming the rope into his opponent's neck before slapping on an armbar.
O'Conner managed to make his way to the ropes and used a judo throw to force Ryno to break
the hold. After the first few minutes, the two participants found themselves right back where
they started. Ryno and O'Conner nodded at one another and locked up again. O'Conner again
gained the advantage, hitting Ryno with a belly to belly suplex. Ryno was slow to get up and
O'Conner went for a back suplex, but Ryno reversed it, nailing O'Conner with a back suplex of
his own. O'Conner landed awkwardly on his neck and didn't move for a few moments. When
he started moving again, O'Conner needed help from the ropes to get up. Ryno moved in
quickly, but almost with a look of hesitation on his face. He nailed O'Conner with a kick to the
gut and lifted him up in the Ryno Charge! Just as he went to drop O'Conner, the Captain
countered the powerbomb, driving Ryno down face first with a rocker dropper! Both men were
slow in getting back to their feet. O'Conner went for a clothesline, but Ryno ducked out of the
way and lifted O'Conner up in position for the Ryno Horn! Again showing how well he knew
his opponent, O'Conner countered the move, sliding down Ryno's back and hitting him with a
Samoan drop! Seemingly having knocked the wind out of his opponent, O'Conner acted
quickly, slapping Ryno in the Celtic Cross! Despite the pain, Ryno refused to give up. Realizing
that his opponent was not a quitter, O'Conner wisely re-positioned his body, keeping the hold
locked in but rolling Ryno over so that his shoulders were on the canvas in a pinning position.
Ryno kicked desperately, but was unable to free his arms from O'Conner's grasp and the
referee counted him down for the three count. After the final bell, Ryno grabbed the world title
belt away from the referee, insisting on presenting it to O'Conner himself. The two shook hands
at the end of the match and held each other's arms high triumphantly in the middle of the ring.
O'Conner then stepped away and pointed back at Ryno, who tore off his t-shirt, revealing an
Untouchables shirt underneath!! O'Conner, Ryno, and George left the ring together as the
screen fades to black.
