My Home Montana
My Child
Big sky country
where the mountains are tall
wild rivers still rage
and the wild geese call
the bears aren't caged
with her lakes so prestine
and her big blue sky
will it's a beautiful scene.
We still have old cowboys
their stories come alive
How they worked and played
on their last cattle drive.
The elk and the deer
and the antelope still roam
In this big sky country
that I call my home.

My Child
His my child
though he is grown
I raised my child
and had not known
of his secret kept for years
My child, my child
I still love you dear.

Together
Together again
We share a name,
A plan, a goal;
Our home the same.

Together we love
We touch, we feel;
The warmth once torn,
Now is healed.

Together always,
A beginning we'll share;
In God's precious gift,
A miracle so fair.

Total Eclipse
The moon came up
like a bright spot light
on that starry cold
Montana night.
Then out of the north
a big wolf appeared
and devoured that moon
from ear to ear.
Then within a hour or so
He spit him back up
with a shiney glow.
