Taran the M'kaar
Taran, the M'kaar pet of Darius kunne and loyal friend to him. He is a member of the M'kaar race in species, but he only vaguely acts like one. Taran was created by Darius in one of KBC's genetic manipulation/ replication tanks as an experiment.
He originally thought of Taran as a failed experiment, but quickly fell in love with the cute little being. Of course, as he aged, the cuteness wore off and Taran's disproportionate form became more clumsy by the year.
Taran remains loyal to his master to this day, keeping the illusion of absent-minded cuteness going despite the fact he's actually rather intelligent. He is actually slightly force-sensitive thanks to Darius' early manipulations in an attempt to fix some of the errors in his genetic code.
