| We want to first start off by wishing everyone a Very Happy Happy Holiday Season! Our deepest, warmest wishes are that the upcoming year brings peace, love and enough fond memories for you to to talk about for a lifetime!!! Its been a very crazy but wonderful year for us and if we had any regrets it would be that we did not get to visit everyone more often and some of you,not even at all. But weve not forgotten a single one of you! Cheryls trial started the years mayhem off with a bang ...but justice has prevailed! Then before craziness turned to insanity, we took a small break and went to Davids brother Tims apartment in Tallahassee Fla. (Yes that city is the one immortalized in all our minds now) .We had a great time and saw so many interesting things including a Video Junkyard in North Carolina in a warehouse the size of two football fields. We had a very short but wonderful visit with Davids Nephew Joe and new Niece-in-law Sheri on our way back through Raleigh. They had just moved there shortly before our trip (Nothing like family tracking you across the Country Eh?) Almost immediately upon our return, our house, which was literally falling apart at the sills and joists, was renovated-top to bottom.. leaving us in complete chaos for months. In fact, were still shuffling things around the property today and discovering lots of little surprises that we forgot we owned with every new box unpacked. We had a wonderful crew out here every day at 8:30 am ripping apart floor after floor, the roof, porch and bathroom, six days a week for three weeks. We had no running water, heat, and sometimes just a 2X4 to walk on to even get to what was left of our kitchen for that entire period. Many nights were spent sleeping in the car...Not exactly fun. We started purchasing equipment and began construction on the recording studio about the same time in late May. There were alot of disheartening setbacks between the all the rain and, and it seemed every person we hired left us hanging in the wind.. So to keep our spirits high and get an income, we turned our focus to Cheryls Video editing Building. It is now up and running, and one of the best looking little video facilities around (this is per CD!!!). (Yadda Yadda Yadda, its Cold, Windy & Sunday and the trash has to go out, Compliments will get the peasants nowhere.....Per King DW) |

| With the blessings of help many of you offered and Cheryls constant supply of food and daily runs to the local building supply houses, David was able to at least finish the video building and install the furnace for both, the Video building and Audio Studio before the onset of winter. The Audio studio (Heretofore to be known as Black Cloud Studios) which is about three-quarters completed, should be finished by spring-God willing. On the business end, weve been fortunate to have worked with some fantastic folks this summer, including our superstar audio/video intern, Justin Petitto, who drives out to the farm from Medina to work with us, about once a week. Weve also had the pleasure of doing construction work, training and doing some video shoots with Cheryls fellow Sweetwater band member, Jay Skaggs, and Victor Taylor and Errol Graham from Cleveland. The amazing Jim Gates and Fast Eddie Malone, videographers from the Cleveland TV scene also joined our shoots this fall.. Video shoots this summer/fall included three weddings, Election night at the Ashtabula County Democrats HQ, the Ashtabula Chamber of Commerce Auction for Pride, the grand opening of Jays church, Harvest International, the funeral of Ashtabula Co. Sheriff Police Dog K9 Ciro, killed in the line of duty, this summer, and the wild and wacky guys at 102Zoo Radio. We also did a press release for attorney Ellen Simon, who won a 30 million dollar age discrimination lawsuit this November. The press release was picked up by Associated Press, WCPN, WKBN-TV Youngstown, the Plain Dealer and many other news outlets and legal journals in Ohio. Its been fun Media Magic also just started advertising in the "Wedding" section of the Ashtabula star Beacon on Sundays and on WZOO Radio (102 Zoo) where we have a link to our website on their internet site. Check it out! Meanwhile, back at the ranch, life abounds at Cloverside. We welcomed six new kittens this spring into the Cloverside Farms fold. All are well and getting into as much trouble as possible. So, on behalf of the Cloverside Farm gang, Horsey Holidays, Meowy Christmas and have a Doggone Good New Year! |
