Vision Quest

Vision Quest is a movie about a wrestler, Louden Swain(Mathew Modine), who isn't really understood. He has very different state of mind and he looks at things very differently then everyone else. He decides to "make his mark", in doing this he attempts to lose weight and drop down two weight-classes and take on the undefeated state champion, Shute. He wants to drop from his current weight class, 190, to 168. Obviously losing that amount of weight in a short amount of time is very dangerous. Louden is doing well and is very on task untill Carla(Linda Fiorentino), a 21-year old drifter, comes in to his life. He immediately falls for her.
