OVL666 - VL AERO CALAIS
This VL started life as a VL 5 speed 6 cylinder commodore one owner before I bought it, it has then had every panel, and part changed with new or close to new parts you could possibly think of. It has been off the road since August 1998 when the transformation began !!
MOTOR :- 355 bottom end with a crane 300a cam, heads have been fully ported and polished to flow 580, they have the oringinal roller rockers, guide plates and new springs. It has Twin throttle body walkinshaw manifold port matched to the heads, original Walkinshaw extractors, and Walinshaw computer remapped and wiring motor is estimated ar 480 hp by Gary Brown who built the motor. The motor has everything polished not chromed ( Manifold, Rocket Covers, Water Pump, Thermostat Housing and Alternator.)
GEARBOX :- Bullnose Top Loader (from a 429 big block) Vertical gate hurst shifter with serperate shifter for reverse. Syncros have been half cut to allow flat changes and should be fun to drive.
DIFF :- 3.9 Minispool 28 spline axles.
BRAKES :- Twin piston Holden VT calipers brand new WITH 330mm cross drilled and slotted discs.
BODYKIT :- The car has a AERO KIT ( Front and Rear Bars, Side Skirt and Door Moulds.) Still trying to get hold of a pillar mould and will be possibly putting rear window wing on even though I like the Walky wing.
INTERIOR :- Full series Calais interior grey velour with WRX front seats.
WHEELS :- Will be VNGROUPA 17 x 8's
