I drank 3 mugs of tea today
Great big mugs of sugared tea
I'm drowning in a sea of tea
And it's only noon you see
I guess if I really wanted to flee
I'd be drinking black coffee
The pills are overpowered by caffeine
My inability to see
To think, to speak, to even be
But I'm no longer on my knee
In fact I think that I am free
Though I think that by about three
I'll feel the need to run, to flee
My heart beats like a jumping flea
But stopping now is good indeed
Before this poem runs to the sea!
