Quarter Back Analysis

Starter

QB- Stewart, Kordell, well our big free agent signing.  Kordell should at least be able to last a 16 game season.  Witch pretty much automatically makes him better then Miller.  Though I liked Millers decision making abilities and his definite leadership we need someone stable.   Kordell can scramble, and has decent arm strength and accuracy.  Pittsburgh killed him though.  I don't really like the way Pittsburgh ran things.  I don't know if he will do better in Chicago or not.  I honestly am very split, he could do very well, or really bad.  C+

Second String

QB- Chandler, Chris, well its about to turn this hoarse out to stud.  Seriously I thought he should retire, because I don't know how well his head can hold up.  He has had a few concussions.  The guy is no spring chicken but as an overall quarter back he isn't bad.  Still throws a great deep ball.  C-

Others

QB- Burris, Henry, oh Henry, the strong armed mobile qb.  who has the ability to smile off his mistakes.  defiantly ain't no Joe Montana.  I don't think he will do well in Europe and probably won't be back here.  F

QB- Sauter, Cory,  could be better then Henry but probably won't be here.  F+

Thoughts  -I defiantly don't think we will leave this draft without a QB.  I don't think it will be a first rounder unless we trade down.  And depending on who is standing in the second we may end up taking Dorsey in the third or fourth.  Personally if we take a QB in the second I hope its Ragone.  I think he has the most skills out of the second tier QB's.  The free agent signing of Stewart was actually a good signing.  We defiantly low balled him.  But it worked.  2 million a year is very good salary for a guy who was in the pro bowl 2 years ago.  We need help at this position still.
