| This page is dedicated to the greatest football play to ever play the game. Never has a more complete back been formed. His blocking, running, reciving, his heart, and even his Half back option skills will never be matched. Walter Payton wasn't just a man of football but more a man that men aspire to be. A family man Walter embodied what it to really be a man. It is said that Walter Payton would get a list of children living in an area of poverty, and go out and buy gifts for children every christmass. All the gifts were simply marked from Santa. And it was never publicly announced because Walter wanted the kids to acctually beleive they were from Santa. And they were not just your dollor store iteams. They ranged from Nike Sneakers to Barbie dolls, depending on the childs age and gender. In his book Never Die Easy there are many storys about Walter Payton. I won't quote any, but you definatly should read the book Never Die Easy. And just make sure you look out for the Top Soil Story, The breaking into a house story with Shuey, and many others.
