Al-farghony Park, Fergana
Grand bazar Fergana
Fergana, is the capital of the Fergana district. The valley between the AlAi-Pamir mountains in the south  and the Tian Shan range in the north is also named after this town. Fergana has been grounded in 1877. The women of the Russian soldiers planted then many trees in the city, because of the desert heat in summer. These maple trees are giving the inner city of Fergana now a lot of shadow. That means, if they get enough water by the irrigation system. And that is nowadays in modern Uzbekistan a doubtful question. Because nobody can give the  answers to this subject, anymore.
