We went for a walk to one of the ponds the following morning to fed the swans and ducks there. There were a lot of them too. It was really beautiful. In the afternoon we went to a cricket match and I watched Shayne play cricket. I am still not sure which team won, or who he played against or even where the match was held. All I can tell you is that it was in the middle of nowhere and that there were sheep grazing right next to the cricket field, not that that helps!! It was another nice hot day with no rain and blue skies!

I woke up to another warm morning. Shayne and his whole family including an Aunt and two Uncles went to Bourton - on - the - Water. This village has houses that were built as early as the 17th century. It was orginally called Borougton and its history can be traced back to pre - Roman times when there was a military camp there.

Shayne and I split up with the rest of the family and went to Miniature world. It is a very small scale of the town. We then went for a walk along the River Windrush and over the bridges. It was really pretty.

We then took a drive to Stradford - upon - Avon. This famous town is where Shakespeare was born in 1564. Stradford - upon - Avon is built on the banks of the River Avon. It used to be a big market town. We all went for a walk along the River Avon and over the Clopton Bridge. We then split up. Shayne and I went on to see Shakepeares house where Shakepeare grew up. We did not go in as it was pretty expensive. We also went for a walk along the roads and had a look at the shops. There is a lot more to do than just see Shakespeares birthplace, we unfortunately did not have much time to have a look at all the other things there are to see. We had a very nice supper at home that evening with South African wine. Ian (Shaynes Dad) took us back to Swindon after supper and then we flopped into bed.

I woke up to a very rainy day, but it was not cold. I went to the Readers Digest to see if they have any jobs available. I was told to go to an agency in Swindon and give them my CV. It was pouring with rain so I didn't go.

I then went to the Tourist information centre to find out about going up to my aunt in South Shields. I went off to a travel agency and booked my bus ticket. It cost me L47,50. It took a knock on my finances to say the least!! I could have gone by plane, but that would have cost me L110,00 and there was no ways I was going to pay that price to go see my Aunt. In the evening I told Shayne that I had decided to go up to see my Aunt the following day.
