Ice cream sandwich face. Old Navy bathing suit she picked out herself. Grass that gets mowed every Wednesday and is completely overgrown by the weekend. A $6 blue plastic wading pool from K-Mart, a garden hose, and an entire afternoon of splashing and spraying. Sunshine and little bug sounds and a dog and cat lying on the patio to soak up the warmth. Sooz and Bob sitting on the new wicker loveseat talking about absolutely nothing important.
Man, I LOVE summer.
