Me: When sending your wife down the road with a gas can, it is impolite to ask her to bring back beer.
My friend Kenny: It might be impolite but it is practical.
If she has a gas can in one hand, she should be carrying at least a 12 pack in the other to even the load. You don't want her back to get all out of whack. That way she can still push the car if the gas wasn't the problem.
Me: It is practical. After she has placed you in the trunk and used the gas to set fire to the car, she can use the 12 pack to flag down a ride home.
Kenny: True. But knowing my wife, it would be more like an 8 pack by then.
