No one who's really into rocketry EVER has an accurate picture of their fleet. That holds true for me. Here's a (fairly) recent picture of my fleet, but there are several others that are in various stages of construction. I've also purchased some rockets that others have built. For some reason, they haven't gained enough status to be pictured with all of these (yet).
Here's a list of my rockets - or at least most of them: ESTES ROCKETS: Astrocam 110 (A gift from my friend Mack Yocum - Thanks Mack!!!) Athena Alpha Alpha III Alpha III (with a permanent 13mm engine adapter) ARV Condor Avenger clone Bandit Beta (From my youth) Big Bertha Big Dawg Broadsword Cherokee-D clone Cobra-1500 clone Colossus (shown without the decals) (Another gift from Mack.) Corkscrew Falcon Commander clone (without decals) Fat Boy Jayhawk, Pro Series (Bought built and too nice to fly - at least for now.) Little Bertha (Scratch built around a BT50 body tube) Longshot (Not the 2-stage one, this is like a small Mean Machine. Bought from someone else. I'll fly it until it dies and then clone it.) Maxi-Alpha III Mean Machine Mini Bertha clone Mini Mean Machine clone Patriot (without decals - I like it better that way.) Pegasus Phoenix (Bought from someone else. I'll fly it until it dies.) Princess (Scratch built for Christie with an 18mm 2-engine cluster.) Prowler Ranger (Another rocket from my youth. Now retired.) Rascal Red Storm Scout III Shadow Silver Comet Skywinder Solar Warrior Thunderhawk Warp II Wizard X-Ray Yellow Jacket OTHER MANUFACTURERS: Aerotech Barracuda Centuri Taurus Custom Razor Custom Freedom Quest Area 51 UFO Flying Saucer
CASUALTY LIST:
Mosquito (We thought it was lost until we heard it smash onto the road and shatter.) Centuri Stiletto (The victim of a faulty nozzle and some really tall Poplar trees.) Nike Arrow (I should have never launched it in our small, tree lined cul-de-sac.) *************************************************************************************************** I welcome comments from viewers of my pages.
