brings a rod to his back, but the lips of the wise protect them.
Proverb 14:
3
The mocker seeks
wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning. Stay
away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips. The
wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of
fools is deception. Fools mock at making amends for sin, but good will

the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. The
tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes
the spirit. A fool spurns his father's discipline, but whoever heeds correction
shows prudence.

Proverbs 17:3.4
Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children. Proverbs 17:6
He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. A rebuke impresses a man of discernment more than a hundred lashes a fool. Proverbs 17:9,10
Better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool in his folly. If a man pay back evil for good, evil will never leave his house. Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out. Proverbs 17:12,13,14
Of what use
is money in the hands of a fool , since he has no desire to get wisdom?
A friend loves at all times, and a brother for adversity.
