Objective:
Adding my knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm to a company that specializes
in software development and engineering; to help make the company that
I work for more profitable and complete my assigned project under budget
and as on time as possible.

Achievements:
Undergraduate Research project in mathematically modeling a one-legged hoping
robot as a mass and spring written in Matlab and documented in a web
page and journal. 1996
software, an optical disk drive for reading and writing information
recorded as bits.. The machine was made out of a 2 degree of freedom
stepper motor, a DC motor, an infra red light scanner, and the software
had a character-based interface and ran under DOS. 1998
Master’s Thesis on the software design for a good real-time control programs for
robot. arms used in the mechanical engineering department for real-time
control classes. The software was written in C++. 1999
Helped digitize parcel maps of San Francisco, CA’s water pipes and valves
Using AutoCAD Map 3 and a scanner for Geotopo. Dec 1999-2000
Worked on Converting a GIS project for Richmond, CA that was generated in
AutoCAD and programmed in Delphi into a project displayed in ArcView
and programmed in Visual Basic and Avenue. I used ADO, ODBC, and
DDE to get it to work for Geotopo. 2000
a GIS can give them. Institutions such as the Army Core of Engineers, the
San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, and the City of Richmond, CA.
I used Avenue, ArcView, AutoCAD, Visual Basic, SQL. ADO, ODBC,
MS Access, and MS Jet. I even documented my work. 1999, 2000
About machines Packaging Aids manufacture, building near-complete
Manuals for operating 5 standard models and 3 optional models. It controls
AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Access, and Intergraph’s smartsketch. It uses
Actives X automation, ADO, ODBC, and MS JET. Planned additions are capabilities for handling
more models, more options, more technical drawings, use of multi-threading for better control and
speed, and using ADO and ODBC to query and communicate with the company’s Progress
database. 2000
Packaging Aids Corporation San Rafael, CA
Documenting operation and manufacturing of machines built by the
company, writing software using Visual Basic, VBA to
automatically use MS Office 97/2000, AutoCAD 2000, and some
other software to generate the documents. Utilizing ADO, SQL,
multi-threading, Active X Automation, DDE, and DCOM, and
HTML. I also install software, help trouble shoot network and
software problems. May 2000 - Present
GIS Technician/Developer Developed and design GIS systems using
AutoCAD, ArcVIEW, and Visual Basic for Windows 95/98/NT.
Documented software, put together power point presentation,
Installed software, helped set up computers in the office.
