| Here we are Quantico, VA. Allen is going through TBS (The Basic School) and I found a job to keep me occupied during the day at the MCCS Finance office. Our stay so far has been exciting, a new adventure. Allen is part of Echo Company. It began July 22, 2002 and graduation was held January 15, 2003 at the FBI Academy Auditorium. Our appartment is a little small compared to what we were used to in Lincoln. Here are some pictures. Since moving, we have met several couples that are also here for TBS. Five of them live here in our complex and two in our building. Hopefully while here on the East coast we plan to do some site-seeing. Places like DC, New York, and the New England area during the changing of the seasons. Upon completion of TBS, it was time for IOC (infantry officer course). Yep, you guessed it! Allen is now a true GRUNT! And now I get to start missing him constantly. Training for infantry is done out in the field, which translates to playing, working, eating and sleeping out and away from me. But it is what he wants to do. We have recently found out that our next duty station will be back to Twentynine Palms, California. I wonder what I can do this time, that I didn't get to do before. hhhuuummm This is definately something to consider. |
