My research interests are fairly broad in nature. However, the bulk of my research has been related to GIS, urbanization and transportation. Prior to my entry into academian, I worked as a transportation planner and a public transportation manager for approximately 10 years. This knowledge and experience has greatly influenced my research as an academician. Currently I am involved in reseaerch concerning watershed management, vehicle related air pollution, and GIS usability.

Collaboration on 11 research projects , 6 as a reaserch assistant and 4 as a co-principal.
The results of the research projects were published in 13 articles (4 in refereed journals or proceedings)
