Strategies and Procedures:

1.      To activate previous learning, students will begin by verbally discussing the past changes that have occurred throughout the life of their shoe.

3.      Enveloped into the discussion, is the subtext of Native Storytelling from the Aboriginal’s Oral Traditions highlighted in the Grade Six Social Studies Expectations.

My Teaching Performance:

[      Are students on task?

[      Are students able to identify with the geographic location of the Rebellions?

[      Are students able to decide what element of change they wish to write about should the teacher intervene with direction?

[      Was the reflection feedback constructive?

[      Is there anything I can do to ensure deeper, richer, learning?

[      What if anything will I change next time?
