Despite what some people say, the Cobra 4.6 DOHC V-8 is a strong engine. No, it doesn't have monstrous cubes (281ci to be exact), but it does have a 7,000 rpm redline. And with some 4V airflow, a ton of rear gear, and some sticky tires, these cars can haul ass! Not only with power adders, either. I polled some of the fastest and hottest naturally aspirated Cobra's in the country and found out some interesting info. Most of the cars have simple bolt-ons and sticky tires and are running mid-to-low 12's at trap speeds in the 110+mph range.
