SMOKING MONKEY

    Smoking Monkey, an Edmonton based band
comes to us with an alternative-rock sound.
Originally formed as Airbag with Lauren Johnston on
vocals and member Mike Alexander they made a few adjustments to become Stefan Candie on vocals,
Josh Gerrand on bass, Kevin Wildy on drums, and Mike Chan on guitar. Some influences you will find that these guys have include:Moist, Smashing Pumpkins,
Big Wreck, and Our Lady Peace.
Some places you may catch Smoking Monkey are local junior highs, and Battle of the Bands. Hopefully by january or febuary Smoking Monkeywill be working on theif first independant album in the studio using 8 new tracks just recently written by the boys.
