Park Avery

  When you think of awsome bands you usually associate them to atleast two or more members but in this case Park Avery is a solo project done by a girl named Sharon who does the guitar, bass, drums, piano AND vocals!!! And if that wasn't enough get this, Sharon, whose 16,  is also her solo projects promoter, manager and producer, "I believe if you want something done right, do it yourself". But Sharon is searching for someone to do vocals with on an upcoming album this winter.
      Sharon describes the band as 'pure emotion rock' a sort of 'cause' band where some of the lyrics are about current or past issues such as the Columbine School Tragedy that happened earlier this year where her song 'Gone' became pretty significant of that event, "It could've been me, it could've been you. Suddenly it became a universal theme for me and one of my favorite songs".
       Seeing as Park Avery is a solo band getting out and playing is pretty hard so Sharon mainly does in-studio work recording her stuff. But Sharon has been accompanied by guitar players as old as 22 and singers as young as 13.
