Faith/Religion:

The way I see it, every religion is valid and there is a good reason why that is so. I feel that a deity of any ranking or position is real because people believe in him/her/it. Thus deities are empowered by followers. This makes logical sense because a religious system's following determine the actions/relations with that system. So whenever the following share a belief they will all act according to that belief. These are very general terms and I could elaborate with examples if anyone was interested.

Government:

I feel that the responsibilities of government are to ensure the general well-being of the public. This includes the public's future wellness, thus forsight must be taken into account. I feel that the best ways to ensure the general well-being of the public include - government provided healthcare options, - limited welfare(only to allow individualss to regain some holdings, not to live off of), - state supported education and well fundedd public schools, - moderated regulation of trade/corporationns to prevent price gouging and unfair/exploitative trade practices, - maintenance of national defense includingg research as well as weapons and military, - policing and enforcing legislation, - diplomatic relations with foreign nationss to open trade opportunities and maintain peace.

Taxes:

Taxes are an unfortunate but necessary method of gaining funding for government programs. I feel that taxes should primarily come from corporate/industrial trades dependant on the profit reports of each corporation/industry. Too high taxes on corporations and industries result in poor growth levels for high tech industry and competitive corporations. Thus extraneous taxes must unfortunately come from consumers and the public. I feel that the majority of these taxes should be income-based because of the greater fairness in levying. The greater the income the more taxes, the lesser the income the less taxes, taking more from those who can afford to give more and less from those in need. Government programs should not be so expensive that many more forms of taxation are required, if needed however those should include small sales tax, grocery tax, food tax, automobile ownership tax, inheritance tax, and/or other forms of taxation on possessions/purchases.

Foreign Policy:

Our foreign policy should be in the best interest first of our country, but this can not go without consideration for the countries it's affecting. To ignore the detrimental effects of our presence, military association, and/or trade practices with any country causes our respectable power in the world to decrease. In order to be a strong and respected nation throughout the world we must not exploit other nations for their resources, discriminate against alien peoples, or maliciously assault them without provocation. It is however, not our duty to answer the call of every small or growing nation that requests our assistance. There are numerous special interest groups and charities that can privately assist these nations. Growing up on a crutch doesn't make for strong legs, and it is important for all industrializing and growing nations to build themselves from within.
