contest is the official ruling of the match tonight Referee Mark Davis was not assigned this match and Referee Mark Coverage was not knocked
out but helping me restore order so he had no legal right to enter the ring now CMLL President Al Perez has held up the
belt based on two facts one being that Viven Klischko was pined and Referee Mark Coverage could have made
the count if were in the ring and two Ken Shamrock used a
illegal weapon had the pitfall counted. Normally the title change would have
happen and a rematch order but because the match was declared a NO contest by
the legal Referee Mark Coverage the belt is held up so next week Viven Klischko vs. Ken Shamrock vs.
Jeff Jarrett for the unclaimed CMLL
Heavyweight Championship
