My machine ::

Fondly called 'paro' , the vital stats are P-4 1.6 GHz, 256 + 64 Mb graphics, the latest in it's jewellery being IrDA port for internet access. Stuck?. This is my computer, my favorite and perfect leisure partner. Apart from programming (C/C++ is my mother tongue!), the activities with 'paro' include digital photography using Adobe Photoshop, composing DJ music, website designing, surfing, and the list goes on.

My works ::

My favourite among my works includes use of programming as a tool to study the real life problems. Studying algorithms and their implementation interests mez. My works include simulation of laboratory, Satellite Image processing for shortest route and for Snow/Ice studies. You may view the resume for details.

Adventure ::



"We Dare!" is the motto of Himalayan Explorers' Club, the adventure club at my undergraduate college. I love to be with nature, be it the hills of Nainital for Rock Climbing or the waters of Holy Ganges at Rishikesh for White Water Rafting. I was lucky to be a part of National Cadet Corps, which gave me ample opportunities to go trekking, mountaineering, and learn arms firing and the motto "unity and discipline". Saying 'stand-at-ease' gave me the same pleasure as "OK, Climb when you are ready!" in mountaineering course #688 at Nainital Mountaineering Club.

Movies/Music ::

I like sci-fi and psychology driven movies. Matrix, Saint, Bi-centennial Man, Devdas, to name a few. Music is the food for soul. I like music in any form. Folk, classical, from movies, instrumental...
