Lahendong
Just a couple of minuts south of Tomohon is the village of Lahendong. In between the sawa's, the pine tree's, and coconut tree's is a "swamp" of boiling hot water. Strait out of the ground. A path has been made and it is easy and safe to walk arround, have a picknick or a bath. Not far from "the swamp" is a bath house where the water is being used to have a private bath of hot vulcanic water. It is near to the main road to Manado but as soon as you have been entering the park it feels like a totally different world. |
