Another week

Hi!  It’s been a while since I've written about my travels, so I thought that I would.  It is a different season of the year now (called winter) and it is much colder and rainier than it was in Texas. I hate the rain!!  Mom doesn't like it much either, so we are walking indoors more often.

Some things haven't changed though. Sunday is church day and I still love it!  But there is no walk Sunday afternoon because of the rain. Monday we went to a new place that I’ve learned is called the mall. I love the mall!  There are lots of people and so many smells and sounds!  I love to work in places like that where my brain is kept busy. I do a very good job taking mom to the coffee shop which she thinks is really cool! Tuesday and Wednesday we still go to the school and I am a good boy - I am very still and quiet.  She is reading with some new kids now and I miss the little girl we read to before.  On Tuesday and Wednesday and sometimes Friday we go to a new place called the gym. This is a strange place and I do not know why humans want to go there. Mom gets on machines and moves her body but doesn't go anywhere. What's the point?  I have to stay on the floor and be quiet and good. And that’s hard sometimes when people come in and I want to talk to them. Wednesday nights we still go to church. I got in trouble this time when we were walking around the church between dinner and church time because I led mom right to all the garbage cans and tried to put my nose in them all. Thursday was a really good day because we got to go see the counselor person.  Mom takes my harness off there now and I get to drink water.  And after that we went to the riding place!  Yay!  Mom made Buddy do a lot of trotting which I just love. Friday we went back to the mall place and walked a ton! It was fun! Mom made me do obedience in the mall and I was a good boy and stayed and sat and laid down like she asked even when we had people passing.  Saturday we got to walk around the golf course! I was happy to be outside, so I went fast and mommy loved it!  I really like the new places we are going to because I like a lot of variety.  But, I don't really like new places because I'm not sure what to do, but I do love to be a guide dog.
