Sunday
It is Sunday and that means we go to church. I love church!  I love to watch the music making people on the stage and all the people in seats around my mom.  I sleep when the guy stands up and talks, but sometimes he's loud and it wakes me up!  It wasn't loud today so I watched and slept.  On Sunday afternoon we went for a walk around the golf course. I have to be careful and keep near the grass away from the edge of the road.  I was a pretty good boy this time. I got distracted by a dog and pulled fast, but mom made me slow down, and then sit, until the dog went by. I pulled her towards some people once too and she did the same thing as with the dog.

Monday

Today we walked around the shopping center. I like doing this route. I was good and didn't run mom into anything. We walked for about a half hour around and around the shopping center. Wag! Wag! How fun!
Tuesday

Today we got to go to the school where mommy listens to the kids read. I tried to turn and talk to some kids walking down the hall when I was supposed to guide mom, and I got up a few times while the kids were reading, but I did a good job of getting her to the different classrooms. In the afternoon we walked the mile long golf course again. I was busy watching things across the street and things going on inside the golf course and mom had to remind me to pay attention a lot for the first half the route, but then I settled down and guided good.

Wednesday

Today we went back to the school. I was a good boy.  After that we went to the place where mom talks with her counselor. I was a good boy and slept the whole time. I did get in trouble for barking when someone came into the waiting room while we were waiting for the bus. Tonight we went to a different church.  First we went in to kitchen where mom ate dinner and then we went into church.  This church isn't as big and busy as the one we went to on Sunday, but its a good place.  I was not being very good on our way out of church tonight - I kept trying to say hi to people.
Thursday

This is my favorite day of the week.  Its the day mom goes horseback riding!  And I get to walk behind her while she rides. It is fun! Fun! Fun!
Friday

Today we went to another school. This is a different school than where mom listens to the
kids - At this one she reads out loud to them. I like that because I get to hear her voice and it sounds happy when it reads. But we go into lots of classrooms - 6 of them in all this week, and next week it will be 7.  I do get sort of tired of lying down and then getting up and following a little human to the next classroom and lying down again. But at least I hear my mommy.
Saturday

Today we had our once a month PCB meeting. This is held at a place where humans eat. They talk and talk. It is a fun time because there are lots of other guide dogs there. I like it best when I am under the table with one or two of them and we get to talk. This afternoon we walked the shopping center again. I ran mom into a few things outside. Then we got to go in to the grocery store. I just love going in there!  I was a good guide there. Mom and I just finished playing with my kitten and now I think I will take a nap.  It’s been a long week.
