My picture page

Caption:  This is me at 10 days old in ICU

On the left is a picture of Michelle’s newborn footprint.  A ruler is laid alongside of the footprint, showing that it measured 1 ľ inches.  Underneath the footprint is handwriting that says the date 6/8/76 and the birth weight of 1 ˝ lbs.

On the right is a picture of Michelle in an isolette in the hospital.  There is white bedding underneath her – no covers. She has no clothes on.  She is laying on her back with her head turned to the side and her arms are lying up on either side of head.  She has dark brown hair about a half inch long.

A hypodermic needle is hanging on the side of the isolette. A tube attached to it is connected to her belly button (to draw blood for testing).  This hypodermic is as large as her leg.  There is a bandage or tape over the belly button to hold the tube in place.  Two large tubes are connected to a breathing apparatus that is covering the lower half of her face.  It is held in place with tape that is wrapped around her head and the respirator.

Caption: 5 years old

Michelle is wearing red pants, and a blue coat with fur around the bottom, the wrists, and the hood.  Her hair is dark brown, wavy and long.  It is put up in two pig tails (with red barrettes) that are laying in front over her shoulders.  A ferry dock is in the background and she is sitting on a timber on the side of a pier.  A doll on her lap is dressed in a pink dress and bonnet.  Michelle is having a happy day and has a very big smile on her face.

Caption: 8th grade school picture

Michelle’s wavy, dark brown hair is cut to about shoulder length with bangs.

The picture just shows the head and shoulders and has a gray background.  She is wearing a yellow T-shirt with a long sleeved, blue & yellow print, button down shirt over it (the shirt is not buttoned).  She is just barely smiling with her lips closed.

Caption: Michelle and David

Michelle and (boyfriend) David are sitting on a couch that has a white cover over it.  Some red flowers are in the bottom of the picture, probably in pots on the floor, but you can’t see the pots or floor.  David has his arm around Michelle’s shoulders.  Michelle’s hands are on her lap- one on each thigh.

David has red hair and is wearing glasses.  He has on dark slacks and a dark shirt.  Michelle is wearing a dress a pink flower pattern on a black background.  There is a wide pink sash around the waist.  Her hair is pulled back.  Both Michelle and David have quiet smiles with their lips closed.

Caption: Michelle and Sharon

Michelle is sitting in a chair and Sharon is next to her with her arm around Michelle’s shoulder.  Michelle is 23, Sharon is 27.  Both have the same color hair and the same  smile.

Caption: My brothers Dwayne and Darrel and family dog Harley.

The boys are laying on their stomachs on the floor and Harley is laying in between them.  All are looking up at the camera.  Dwayne, on the left, is the older brother, and has his head shaved in Army fashion.  Darrell’s hair is blonde.  Harley is a big rottweiller.

Tammany’s pictures

Caption: My safe place hiding under the bed.

This is picture of a silver gray and white tabby cat (Tamanny).  An edging of white fur forms a thin outline around her eyes that looks like eyeliner and really defines the shape of her eyes.  Two thick dark black lines on her gray fur define her cheeks.  There is a little bit of white around her nose and her chin is white also (so the mouth area of her face is white).  She is hiding under something that is just inches from the tips of her ears.  Judging by the little bit of blanket that is hanging down over the edge, one can assume she is hiding under a bed.  She is laying down, very alert with ears up, and front paws curled under her chest. The picture stops just beyond her mid section so you can’t see her tail.  She is wearing a collar with a little bell on it.

Caption: I just love a nice crisp paper bag.

Picture taken from the side of a brown paper grocery sack with paper handles lying on the floor in front of a white wall.  Just a little bit of Tamanny’s face is peeking out of the bag – the very front of her face and one ear.

Caption: He’ll never find me in here.

The picture was taken facing the opening of the paper sack.  Tamanny is inside the bag, laying down looking out of the sack towards the camera.  To her left, inches from the bag is the lower half of a collie (Radar) walking (one foot is raised as he is taking a step).

Radar pictures

Radar is a tri-colored rough coat collie.  His coat is long and silky, about 6 inches long and even longer around the ruff.  His main color is tan, with white ruff, white forelegs and white socks on his hind feet. Darker brown and black are sparsely worked through the tan coat.

Puppy Radar, about 2 months old. He is very fluffy. His ears are as big as his face is long!

They are standing still.  Michelle is holding the reigns. Radar is slightly in front of the horse looking over his shoulder.

There is another small dog, Tinkerbelle, walking past Radar.
