This page is for KIDS ONLY! Here are sites that will be really helpful to all students. Including in these are links to my PiNet, as well as, links to fun music sites where students will have fun and learn a lot about music. I hope this is a very helpful page for all students and if there are any questions or suggestions, please let me know.

Student Search Engines This is a link to search engines just for kids. There are great links to things you will enjoy and filter everything you do not need to see or hear, so your parents will be happy.
Copyright Law Websites This includes links on copyright laws, Fair Use policy, how to ask for permission, copyright law for computer software, how to teach students about copyright laws, and plagiarism.
Website Citations These links include websites that will teach you how to give credit to the source of your work. There is also a link to the citation machine, which will make the citation for theyou after all the information is entered. There are guides for general citations, APA, APSA, CBE, Chicago/Turabian, and MLA. These links are very good for students who are learning to citate and those who need refreshing in learning how to citate.
Online Laws and School Policies These are links that every student needs to explore. These links include information on Acceptable Use Policies and COPPA. In order to make sure you are protected while on computers at school, make sure you look at these sites.
Evaluating Websites These are links to great sites that help you as a teacher learn how to distinguish between a "good" website and a "bad" website. Listed in these websites are criteria that should be in a website you are planning to use to teach your students. There are also check sheets so you can evaluate the websites yourself with no confusion.

These websites are really fun and will teach you a lot about music. There are links that teach you about composers and time periods of music. There are also links to different instruments and will teach you how to make your own instruments. Make sure you play all the games so you really learn the great aspects of music.
