ROSSBURG SERIES


The Rossburg series consists of very deep, well drained soils formed in loamy alluvium on flood plains. Permeability is moderate in the solum and moderately rapid in the underlying material. Slopes range from 0 to 3 percent. Mean annual precipitation is about 34 inches, and mean annual temperature is about 51 degrees F.
