FIELD ACTIVITIES

• Transects recorded by team member, FY97-98:
• TIE-1, SAH-23.5, JLS-49.5, MLW-60: total-134.
• Outwash soils investigated in Fountain County.
• Bedrock soils investigated with EM meter.
• Collected samples for base saturation on bedrock soils.
• Team investigated join with Montgomery County.

OFFICE ACTIVITIES

• Maintaining data bases for Pedon and the Transect form.
• Totanang and Yeddo (new series) draft Official Series Descriptions circulated for comment.

CORRELATION DECISIONS

• Preparing documentation for bedrock and outwash map units.
• Sleeth and Westland map units added to the legend.

MISCELLANEOUS ACTIVITIES

• Met with a reporter in Fountain County about a soil survey news article.
