Our Indiana Soil Survey Program has been organized into Major Land Resource Areas (MLRA) Project Office Service Areas. We have established one of these offices in Winamac to service the northern one-third of Indiana, where this project office will be maintained until our Service Center is completed in Plymouth.

The Headwaters MLRA Soil Survey Project Office updates and maintains the soil surveys for the northern 30 counties of Indiana. We also provide soil information and education to Soil and Water Conservation Districts, County Organizations, Landowners, and many more.
