Wade Bott Soil Scientist / MLRA Project LeaderResponsible for coordination, quality assurance, progressive correlation, Official Series Descriptions, soil interpretations, special studies, taxonomic and map unit descriptions, manuscripts, data collection, analysis, and mapping efforts associated with updating the soil surveys of Northern Indiana including portions of MLRA's 98, 99, 110, and 111. Past work experience in Minnesota, Mississippi, Georgia, and Indiana. Graduate of North Dakota State University. Currently serving as a Soil Data Quality Specialist MLRA 4, Bozeman, Montana
Responsible for maintaining Field Office Technical Guides, providing on-site investigations (ie. animal waste facilities, potential dam sites, special interpretations), and soil training needs of personnel in the LaSalle Northwest and the Three Rivers Regions in Northwest Indiana. Also work with MLRA project office in updating soil surveys as needed. Assist with mapping, data collection and analysis, taxonomic and map unit descriptions, quality assurance, and soil interpretations. Member of drainage class and similar/dissimilar workgroups. past work experience in northwestern and southeastern Indiana. Graduate of Texas Tech University with BS and MS degrees. Field Operations Technician Responsible for field operations assistance to the Three Rivers Natural Resource Region and Arrow Head Country RC&D Area and Indiana Headwaters MLRA Project office in North Central Indiana. Assistance includes maintenance of field office databases, information collection and dissemination, and files management. Provides support and training for FOCS modules. Assists with orientation training for new NRCS, IDNR and SWCD employees. Assists with preparation of watershed and NRI maps, data, documentation and reports. Responsible for PC-TARE for all NRCS employees in region. Assists SO Public Affairs Staff with information programs by collecting data and preparing articles. Coordinates meeting arrangements within the region and with state office staff to set up contract with hotel or other meeting facilities. Past work experience in Arrow Head Country RC&D office in Winamac and NRCS Area I Office in Rensselaer. the Pulaski County Soil Survey Subset Update. Mapping experience in
several counties in Southern Indiana for the Indiana Department of
Natural Resources. Former Chairman for the Miami County Soil and Water
