| Over the past several years, I have become very involved with quilting. I joined the local quilt guild - The Flying Geese - in September 1996 and have joined just about every mini-group in the guild. I really enjoy participating in Round Robins and have even tried a few off the internet. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I became the guild's newsletter editor in June of 1997. The newsletter was a lot of work, but I enjoyed designing and putting it all together each month. In June of 2000 I was voted in as President-Elect. This is a fancy name for Vice President, but means that after my one year term I will automatically become President for a term of one year. This will be a very busy two years! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| As of the beginning of 1998, I started my own quilting business, MarLou Enterprises, which specializes in Memory/Picture and Signature Quilts. I also enjoy making traditional style quilts for family and friends. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
