Explain: from Christian's point of view: we are put in Christian's
shoes. Argentinian's dress suggest circus or other performer. His being narcoleptic,
so rapidly, introduces absurdity into the film again and with it comic
elements - to balance the tragic elements and also make the tragedy
stand out more starkly.
