General News

Well, ladies and gentlemen, September is upon us.  The something equinox is approaching, the days are cooling down, children everywhere are letting out a collective groan, and Office Depot is having its biggest week since last September.  It's September the first, so we've still got six days.  Live them up for me.

Generally at this point I would reminisce about the summer, but...there really isn't all that much to say.  I haven't established world peace. I haven't ended world hunger.  I haven't found a cure for cancer.  I haven't written the great American novel.  In short, this summer has been a waste.

However, summer has been eventful, if anything.  I generally hole up near the computer all summer, so the outstandingly high amount of socialness I was able to take in was refreshing, if not confidence-boosting.  I have APs to Universal, SeaWorld, the San Diego zoo, and Disneyland, all of which were acquired over the summer.  My cell phone became operational again, e-mail me for the number.  I'd be more than happy to not give it to you.  I've bought quite a few DVDs over the summer: Bowling for Columbine, The Breakfast Club, Edward Scissorhands, The Virgin Suicides, and What's Eating Gilbert Grape among them.  I have, unfortunately, lapsed into boredom, which means that I won't bitch and gripe about going back to school.  That's good for all you people not reading this.

Anybody who happens to accidentally stumble upon this, please tell your friends.  Get the traffic up on this site.  Thanks.

Yours,
  -Owen
