What do I get by being a member?
-Exclusive viewing of all the MLNR movies during the semester. When was the last time you saw any comedy movie on the big screen? Did you have a chance to see the classics such as Animal House and Caddyshack on the big screen?
-Participate in IM Sports (Softball, Kickball, ?) and other casual sports (Football, Ultimate Frisbee). We're not necessarily good, but hey we'll have a good time in the process.
-Participate in online gaming with other members.
It's been done before, but we'll attempt to do on the big screen. Imagine playing Starcraft or Day of Defeat in Welch Hall.
Interaction with members with similiar interests/ humors. MLNR is more than movies. Certainly we could just watch a movie and everyone would leave at the end like at the Texas Union Theatre. If anyone's interested we would go into discussions about the movie. This wouldn't be any formal discussions done like in course but a fun discussion that would ask what made the movie funny and/or great.
