| This Movie is So Damned Funny | |||||
I have just seen the add for a new move that is going to blow the socks off of everthing you have ever seen! Ok, so the movie's not actually out yet and I had to get a bootleg copy of the script off of a secret movie-news spy site, but it's the most hilarious stuff ever! I mean as any true fan of the comedy genre can tell you, things have been flagging for a while now. What with Austin Powers ("Shag me Baby!") not having another sequel for a good year or so what is a fun loving personage like me to do? Maybe I should explain some things about me first, so when I say that this movie is incredibly hilarious and destined to knock the socks off of anyone that looks at it, you know just what kind of endorsement you are getting here. I have watched every new comedy to hit the video shelves in the past five years at least 3 times. That's right, at least three times. That's dedication to the realm of film that most people just can't claim to have. I remember the lines to every great classic perfectly and completely by heart ("We are the Knights who say knees!") and am always finding ways to work them into conversation to the amusement of my friends. They pretend to find it annoying, but I've seen them roll their eyes and laugh when they think I'm not looking so I know how they really feel. I must have seen all the Monty Python sketches a dozen times each, and like I said their movies are etched in this steel trap of a brain I have. Still don't believe I have the expertise to say that a movie is truly a vanguard of the new heights that comedy will soon be reaching? What about Meet Joe Dirt, huh? Who knew, and told, everyone, that David Spade was going to be amazing in that movie? I did, that's who! It's like Kevin Spacy said in that comedy he did with Mina Su-whatshername; "I rule this place!" Man that movie was funny, and they managed to keep the laughs going even with the way they handled the murder scene! [My friends didn't get it, I think, because they gave me these wierd looks. What? Did you, see the look on his face in that scene? Classic.] Anyway, that's all beside the point, or maybe just leading up or whatever. The point is this movie I've seen is gonna rock like Ashe in Army of Darkness ("This is my boom-gun you damned dirty apes!") and I'm going to have all the good lines memorized before the movie even comes out. My friends are gonna love it. |
