It's a game of adventures that draw from the tales of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Fritz Leiber, Robert E. Howard and others while allowing you to create brave new adventures on new worlds.
For centuries an alien empire has held the universe in its grip, clutching at even the planets that were not aware they were under its power. Taking slaves from worlds by way of their uncanny translocation beams, the empire eventually began to weaken as its people rebelled and mysterious forces left its throne world a home fit only for the damned.
It is in this setting that new governments are formed, new dangers arise, new champions are needed, and it is the role of champions that these men and women must fill in Dangerous Stars.
