Mark Kirkley is a Registered Principal and Raymond James Financial Services Branch Manager.

Experience

Mark has been a financial professional for more than 19 years and is responsible for managing assets on behalf of clients in 20 states and several foreign countries.

He is a former Regional Leader with Edward Jones where he was responsible not only for hiring and training, but also for the overall success of 60 plus offices throughout Atlanta and surrounding area.

Prior to Edward Jones, Mark served as an officer and pilot with the US Navy for a total of 25 years (9 active/16 reserve).  During his military service, he was board selected to be the founding Commanding Officer of NRNAS Whiting Field and subsequently was chosen as the Executive officer of NR Carrier Group Six, the Battle Group Staff.  Mark retired from the Navy in 2003 at the rank of Captain.

In the financial arena, his focus is to simplify the lives of his clients.  He does that by tailoring plans designed to control risk, generate a solid return, and minimize taxes.  Mark’s philosophy is to always put the client’s interest ahead of his own.  Mark’s client base covers a wide spectrum ranging from a number of highly sophisticated senior corporate executives, small business owners, all the way to trust recipients whose primary role is to receive and spend.  He says, “We take a lot of pride in tailoring individual solutions for our clients.  We listen to their needs and concerns, evaluate the alternatives, then implement and monitor the plan.  We are there to make adjustments as situations change.”

Mark and his wife Kari own and operate Kirkley Investment Group, LLC and reside in Atlanta, Georgia.  They are involved in several community service and charitable organizations including the Benefactors Circle of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation.
