This idea grew out of a (sometimes disturbing) conversation with Guffey and Liz on IM one night...I was amused. I told them I would expand upon the idea. 4 months later, I present you with....

Fish Spells

These spells are designed to be used by arcane spell casters (AD&D 2nd edition style--maybe I'll convert to 3e later when I know it better) of the Goldfish race only.

Level 1:
Breathe Air: The spellcaster is allowed to breathe air for 1/minute per level. This is excellent for those occasions when The Hand attempts to move the caster from one bowl to the next, and accidentally drops him; it signifigantly lowers the overall trauma of the experience.
Level 2:
Communicate with Other Plane: The caster is able to send a message to an inhabitant of another plane (either one of air or another fishbowl). It is frequently used to relay such messages as "the lamp is too hot," "there are too many fish here," or "the crayfish is trying to eat me--get me out!" While the usefullness of this spell is frequently brought under question (the great hand does not seem to understand messages send in fish language), many claim it has saved their lives.
Level 3:
Leomund's Tiny Plastic Castle: This spell allows the caster to summon a plastic castle for 1 hour/level. The castle has all the amenities one would expect of a luxurious plastic castle: bright, high quality, non-soluble non-toxic paint; an arch to swim through; a tiny plastic person peering out of one of the painted windows.
Level 4:
Level 5:
Level 6:
Level 7:
Level 8:
Level 9:
Level 10 (technically illegal spells, but why not?):
