by Terry Gordon I dreamed the Heavenly Father assured me Of Eternal Serenity if I'd walk in his way, Of hope for my every tommorrow, Of strength for my every today. I awoke and pondered the promised assurance And wondered just how it could be, It staggered my mind while contemplating The Eternal Gift that He offered to me. I tried being good to be worthy Of such a magnificent Gem, Until He reveiled that my goodness Could not gain acceptance with Him. I hope someday I will receive Him And claim the Faith before I'm due, And pray that Eternal Serenity Will still be there for me to pursue! |

My Mother is a joy to know
And I love her very much,
She has such a kindly soul
That brings a comforting touch.
She worked hard as a nurse
To put food on the table,
She reads the bible every verse
And her life is very stable.
She raised her kids the best she could
With little money that she had,
She did what a Mother would
And for that I'm very glad.
By God a women nobly planned
Her spirit still and bright,
To warm, comfort and command
My Mother of Angelic light.
Surely a place for her is reserved
Beyond the starry sky,
A spiritual place well deserved
Which Heaven cannot deny!
