The thesis is well-supported via logical analysis.
Evidence should be relevant to the thesis.
Evidence comes from five (or more) reliable sources.
Essay includes at least one counterargument.
Essay refutes at least one counterargument.
Errors in grammar, diction, paragraph structure, sentence structure, and
usage do not interfere with understanding.
Errors in spelling, punctuation, or capitalization do not interfere with
meaning.
Correct MLA in-text citations throughout essay.
Works Cited contains correctly formatted MLA
