Schnoodles!

What is a schnoodle???

A schnoodle is one half miniature poodle and one half miniature schnauzer. It stands at around 14" and usually weighs around 16-18 pounds depending on it's diet. My schnoodle is spoiled and weighs a whopping 23 pounds, but that's another story... A schnoodle's tail is short and stocky like a schnauzer's and their ears are sort of floppy like a poodle's. The colors of a schnoodle can vary from black, brown, gray and white. My schnoodle, Lillian, is pure white, which is very rare.

How long will a schnoodle typically live???

Like most small dogs, schnoodles have a rather long life expectancy. Some have been known to live for 19 and 20 years, but on average, a schnoodle would most likely live well over 15 years.

Why would someone want to own a schnoodle???

Schnoodles have a great temperament. They are loyal and affectionate dogs with extremely intelligent minds and plenty of personality. Although they are very non-aggressive, schnoodles make great watch dogs. They are great for kids and are hypo-allergenic which means that they do not shed. Schnoodles are first and foremost a loyal and loving companion!
