In Loving Memory
This site is dedicated to Brandy Lynn.
She died of Hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive form of cancer. It is not genetic & any dog can have it. Brandy was a beloved member of our family & we will always miss her !!! She may be gone but she will never be forgotten !!!

We Love You !!!
Hello, my name is Michelle & I would like to thank you for your interest in my dogs. First of all I want to make it perfectly clear that I am not a commercial kennel or large scale breeder by any means! I strive for quality, not quantity! I am not a kennel, vom Wolf-Tal is just the name I use to distinguish my breeding program. I have been raising & training dogs for the last 17 years. I have a total of 8 dogs & I do not breed them all now nor have I ever. My dogs are members of my family & are treated as such. My dogs have always lived in my home & have full access to my entire home. I have no whelping facilities, my puppies are all born & raised in my home. My puppies are all handled from day #1 by adults & small children, they are very well socialized!
I have 3 Pugs ( 1 male & 2 females ) 2 Rat Terriers ( 1 male & 1 female ) & 3 German Shepherds ( 2 males & 1 female ). I only allow my girls to have one litter per year at the most. Because of this my puppies are limited & I urge you to get on my waiting lists in order to receive preference for one of my puppies. Each breeding is carefully planned & extensive pedigree research is done beforehand. My dogs are all vet checked & given a clean bill of health before they are allowed to breed. I have had the same 2 veterinarians for the last 11 years & I do give their contact information. I am a Purina Pro Club member & I feed Purina One foods. I do offer a 1 year genetics guarantee on all my puppies. All my puppies are kept up-to-date on their routine vet work. All my puppies come with a variety of items & helpful information to get you both off to a good start with one another. I am also always available to be of help to you & your new vom Wolf-Tal puppy. Please feel free to contact me for advice or just to let me know how things are going, I am always here to be of assistance.

**A Few Words About Puppy Mills, Puppy Auctions,& Puppy Brokers & How You Can Help Stop Them**
Puppy mills are at an all time high right now & the majority of them are located here in the midwest. Missouri is classified as the "Puppy Mill Capital of the World" but Iowa is not far behind. Dog auctions are being conducted in Iowa. These auctions sell adult dogs, entire litters of puppies or individual puppies, pregnant dogs, & females still nursing their puppies. A puppy mill is defined by their practices not necessarily by the number of animals they have. Dogs in puppy mills are treated terribly. Puppy mills are all about the money. To maximize profits dogs & puppies do not receive adaquate veterinary care. The "Millers" do most of their own veterinary care, if they do any at all. Money is saved by feeding low quality food & sometimes it is ground up & mixed with sawdust to further profits even more. Dogs in puppy mills are often debarked, I won't go into the details of how because it is very cruel. They swelter in the summer & freeze in the winter because there is no air conditioning or heat for them. These dogs do not know the feel of a kind human touch, they are thought of only as a source of money. Puppies are taken from their mothers between the ages of 5 to 8 weeks & often sold to brokers who pack them into crates & they are sold to pet stores all over the country. When you buy a puppy from a pet store you are supporting puppy mills!!! Only buy a puppy from an ethical reputable breeder or adopt a pet from your local shelter or rescue!! Do your homework on any breeder you are interested in purchasing a puppy or dog from. Ask for  references, their veterinarians' name, address, & telephone number, what registry do they use & can you see proof of the registration of their dogs & puppies, are they affilliated with any breed clubs or organizations, can you see the health & vaccination records for their dogs & puppies, how many puppies do they have per year, do they always have puppies available( if they do they are a mill )? Most importantly can you come see their dogs & puppies & meet them face to face? If a breeder does not readily answer any & all  of your questions or agree to provide you with the proper information or agree meet you do not get a puppy from them, they are a puppy mill! A good breeder will encourage you to ask questions & will also have quite a few questions to ask of you. Good breeders care about their dogs & puppies & are concerned as to where their puppies go. Please educate yourself on puppy mills & their practices so that you do not fall victim to them & perpetuate their inhumane treatment of animals.
