We were greeted at the airport in Belize City on Saturday by Jerry Enriquez and Sydney, Luz Hunter's nephew. After settling in at the Great House in Belize City we walked around with Jerry. Later we had dinner with Jerry, Luz and Drs. Arriaga and Hidalgo who cared for Daniel. We learned more about the amazing sequence of events that together allowed Daniel to survive. Surely God has shown His work in Daniel's life.
From Belize City we headed west to TEC, Belmopan, San Ignacio and Tikal in Guatemala. We then returned to Belize City for lunch with Stephen and Marcia who hosted Daniel in his first visit and then on to Caye Caulker, a beautiful island, for rest and relaxation. The big day, the day we visited Vaca Falls, was Tuesday, day 4.
