Other Quilts
These were the ones that I either forgot as I was building the other pages or didn't quite fit into any of the other categories.

My first, a baby quilt made in 1987. I really had no clue what I was doing :) Machine pieced, hand quilted.

The first bed sized quilt, from Eleanor Burns' Log Cabin In A Day book, back before I even owned a rotary cutter. Queen size, machine pieced, tied, 82" x 110".

Two samplers made with swapped blocks. Barksdale's Busy Bees were active a few years until the members moved away from the area. The one on the left has blocks by Katherine Reeve (Interlocked Squares), Tiia Bullen (Ducks and Ducklings), Pinwheel (Regina Schuller), Helen Ackerman (Churn Dash), my own (Louisiana Star Variation), Jan Hart (Aunt Sukey's Choice), Lisa Eddy (Card Trick), Carleen Martin of Provo, Utah (Star Puzzle), Jeannine James (Lemoyne Star), Debi Burkhart (Nine Patch), Tami Sandoval (Ohio Star) and Louise Bagby (Four Knaves). It's still a work in progress, it does have a border now, still needs to be quilted. The blocks are 12". The one on the right was our first swap project, a Chimney Sweep block, 12 ". It was machine pieced and tied.

Lewiston Album Wannabe. A hand appliqued sampler I made as a wedding gift for my friend Blanca in 1998. It's a first for me, since applique has never been my strength. The blocks are six inches finished. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it, so this is an image put together with scanned blocks. I used patterns from a variety of sources and used a graphics program to size them down as needed. It opened up a world of possibilities for me. It's 22" x 22".

El Lobo. Another first for me, fusible
applique. I made this one in December 1999 for Steve. Hand quilted,
30 1/2" x 27 1/2".
