Melonie Latham, Texas born and raised, is an enterprising product of the Lone Star State she knows and loves. Melonie has a diverse resume, from tending bar through college to owning and operating her own landscaping business for several years. Most recently she has worked as a bookkeeper and moonlighted with an internet virtual store. Melonie has an eye for the unique, the collectible, the vintage treasures that collectors search the antique malls and flea markets of America for. When Melonie isn't busy being an internet entrepenuer, you can find her in the north pasture riding her horse, Cody, or dipping a fishing pole in the backyard pond. For fun, she might spend a Saturday night listening to her husband play drums in a local band. She's even been known to fill in on the keyboard herself or sing back-up on some occasions. Raised by a Southern Baptist minister and his wife, Melonie has old-fashioned values that are at the base of her enterprising work ethic. She will jokingly tell you that she put her parents through wringers growing up, but she held and holds them in high regard, and she is indebted to them for her successes. Dan Latham, the love of her life, shares her dreams and schemes, and supports her endeavors one hundred percent. They share their home with two children, two dogs and three cats.
