The Caps carried a one-run lead into the eighth, when Chicago scored three times on a Dipoto RBI single and a two-run triple by Chico Hawley.  Baltimore pulled within one, but Jorgensen faced down the heart of their order in the 9th to pick up the save and send the Claymores to the World Series.
